“Your tackle hangs slack;
It cannot hold the base of its mast firmly,
Nor spread out the sail.”
—Isaiah 33:23 NASB
Welcome to an early edition of our regular email update.
I want to share with you what I consider a significant prophetic word that I received today from a friend. I encourage you to read this word from Lou Engle. It is from a regular communication entitled, The Briefing. In our focused prayer time, we have lifted up the November election and our need for God to move in revival power. This link speaks of the urgency to also pray for the nomination of a new Supreme Court justice. That has not been a prayer focus for me. Because of this input from Engle, it will be.
We are truly living through a major highly eventful season for our nation. Our prayer is an important part of calling right now as active citizens. The future direction of our country is at stake. Let us do all we can to support constitutionally based leadership.
“By the blessing of the upright a city is exalted, But by the mouth of the wicked it is torn down.”—Proverbs 11:11
“First of all, then, I urge that entreaties and prayers, petitions, and thanksgivings, be made on behalf of all men, for kings and all who are in authority, so that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity. This is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.”—1 Timothy 2:1-4
The Lord Jesus continue to enrich you as you seek the Lord for our nation,
